I like the fox. It looks a lot bigger and wilder than normal foxes does. Like it's the "original fox" that all other foxes were modelled from. A bit like a god, only more like the old norse ones who messed up a lot and were like humans only "bigger". I bet this is the guy that has all the fun stories. The same is probably true for the snake, but it's harder to see if a snake is bigger and wilder than our snakes.

...Maybe the snakes think they're better creatures because they haven't really changed that much since the wilder past?

I have always considered snakes as a bit of a holy creature- so maybe they did not change from their origin. Perhaps they are creatures who can control their size on whim- better to fit in tight places with that!

OOOO pretty!

Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. This amazing stranger from the planet krypton...Superman!!

It would make sense. If you had a world where everything started out with a "godly" original then the less you've changed from the original the closer you'd be to being a god. Snakes and sharks and all sorts of other critters would probably be a lot more holy than the soft and cute critters. And I can imagine being able to change your size is a very useful ability. And if "normal" snakes can do that then I wonder what a great big original snake can do.

One of my favorites from you<3 I like how you've done the composition and done the animals on it. They look so original, almost if they would be jumping out of a real illustration book. : D Especially the snake and the patterns on him look great! I like them.<3
Wicked they both really are, and usually the fox is my favorite trickster. ;3 In here I think it's the snake because it's so well done. : D
Good work!
