I have loads of scrap illustration board laying around, so I have cut a batch of 2" x 6" strips to work on. These are sumi-e ink brushed lineart and watercolor.

In this batch...
Quetzacoatl, the winged serpent. (sold)
A Chinese dragon. (sold)
And a bird that I just felt like drawing-(sold)

That bird owns my soul. I have no idea what kind of voodoo you do to get your watercolours so well behaved.

You'll have to look closely at the bird when I send it to you- check out the illustration board it is on. There are some slight imperfections up in the top corner due to damage, and that affects the texture.

Overall though, that stuff is the SHIT.

I might not like this one as much without the human element. It shapes the scope of the images without going too far in either possible extreme. I'm assuming this is a random fistful of images, but there's definitely a seasonal aspect to their arrangement which hearkens back to the Art Deco painters. Interesting.

It is a random collection of small pieces I am doing- mostly to learn brush control, try new watercolor techniques and work on color combination. I am also very fond of beasts and monsters- so it is more of a fun project than a deep and meaningful one.

I go all over the place with my work. That's how I like it.
